MENTORING CHAMPS CENTRE - OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL SUCCOUR HIGH SCHOOL

The MENTORING CHAMPS CENTRE carries the motto of ‘Lighting the Path’. The

centre became operational in August 2015. ANUGRAH joined hands with OUR LADY

OF PERPETUAL SUCCOUR HIGH SCHOOL (Chembur) to provide guidance to primary

school children in handling challenges like fear, anxiety, peer pressure.

ANUGRAH started “The Learning Centre’, where three trained teachers in remedial

education helped children from STD I to STD IV to discover their unique learning style.

This process included creating modules and study techniques catering to the needs of

each student, and incorporating brain gym exercises among other tools and activities.

PARENT ORIENTATION PROJECTS IN SCHOOLS

With increasing reports emerging about clashing mindset between parents and children,

Anugrah set out to bridge this gap by undertaking parent orientation projects in schools.

These orientation programs aim to provide insight and engage discussion amongst

parents about positive parenting skills. These skills help the parent to handle a conflict

with the child and enable them to involve the child in the transformation process.
