Arun (name changed) comes from a troubled domestic environment. He is troubled with
his father's alcoholism and lives in innate fear of facing conflict. In order to escape fear,
he resorts to watching excessive television and staying out of the house for a long time.
Arun is unable to focus on studies and is struggling to form meaningful interpersonal
relationships.
Our mentor (Rani Mathew) identifies the root of the problem as fear, rejection,
hopelessness, anger. Rani presents to Arun the importance of having positive social
interactions and relationships. She also presents a practical plan to transform trigger of
fear to action. Arun was encouraged to know that with perseverance and effective wilful
action, he will move from Fear to Freedom!
